My Go-To Hairstyle for Busy Days!

08/28/2021

As a busy wife, mama, and content creator, I’m always looking for ways to maximize my time. This summer I fell in love with headband wigs as a quick and cute way to style my hair. I’ve been rocking headband wigs since May and always get so many questions from friends, family, and followers, so I thought I’d take the time to answer some of the questions I get the most. Headband wigs are an awesome way to slay your hair when you’re short on time and I think every busy wife/mama/girl boss should look into investing in this hair staple!

*This is a sponsored post, meaning I was paid to write this review by Luvme Hair. All opinions are my own true feelings about my experience with the product and the company*

Ok, now that we’ve gotten the legalities squared away, let’s get into this Q&A!

Are the wigs good quality?

Sis, I have had my share of bad experiences with ordering hair online. I actually had TWO wig horror stories from two separate companies this year before I tried Luvme Hair. I’ve been wearing my first Luvme Hair unit for almost four months now. I’ve had my second unit, the Wet and Wavy Affordable Headband wig (which is featured in this post), for a week and the quality of both wigs has been amazing!

The hair is thick, and soft and does not shed or get tangled easily. The wig also looks very natural and blends with my natural texture well. I like to lay the front of my hair really well with edge control and a scarf and push the wig back from the hairline just a little for a more natural look.

Is the wig easy to install?

Yes! It only takes a few seconds to secure the wig and go on about your day. There are four clips sewn onto the wig cap – one in the front, one in the back, and one on each side. In addition, there is also an elastic band attached that is connected by Velcro at the base, making the wig not only easy to install, but also secure.

Is the wig versatile?

I used to think headband wigs were limited when it came to styling but once I tried my first one, I was surprised by how many looks you can get out of a headband wig. Outside of just wearing the hair down, you can wear it in a bun, a low ponytail, a high ponytail, half up/half down, you can even straighten it – there are so many options!

What is your experience with the company?

My experience has been overwhelmingly positive. The shipping is fast, and my packages come in great condition.

I especially love how much thought Luvme Hair puts into their packages. In addition to the headband wig, you receive five trendy headbands, wig caps, an edge brush, tweezers, a scarf to lay your edges, a cute hair clip, and bobby pins to help secure your style.

This summer my headband wigs from Luvme hair have been a staple for me. If you’re a busy woman on the go and want a quick hairdo that doesn’t compromise style, consider trying one of the Luvme Hair headband wigs. The wigs are beginner-friendly, super cute, and very affordable, and even better, you get an additional 20% off when you use code Jasmine-20!

Cheers to better hair days and more time in your schedule!

Postpartum shedding done took my edges OUT. I was Postpartum shedding done took my edges OUT. I was expecting this since this isn’t my first rodeo, but it’s still annoying 😒.

Now that my go to lazy girl hair style (a puff) is out of the question, I’ve had to learn how to master styles that will hide my hairline until the hair grows back.

If you’ve been here a while you know I don’t know how to do hair and twist outs and me do not mix, but I think I finally got it! How do you think I did??

Also, please drop your tips for simple styles to do that will hide a thinning hairline. I’m taking all the help I can get 😩
Every verse here is special to me, but this week Z Every verse here is special to me, but this week Zephaniah 3:17 hits home the most.

I know how excited I get when I think about my God, but to think He gets just as excited about me is still something I can’t fully wrap my brain around. I love knowing that God - as perfect as He is and as powerful as He is - has a soft spot for little old imperfect me.

This week I’m praying for everyone who comes across this post. May the love of God ease your every fear and insecurity, and may you rest content and at peace in His overflowing love towards you ♥️
I’ve been posting a daily Bible verse in my stor I’ve been posting a daily Bible verse in my stories for almost 3 years now. I recently took a (long) break and decided to bring the daily verses back as a weekly post on my feed.

The goal is to let the word “live” permanently on my page so you can come back to verses that resonate with you over and over again.

One of the best things you can do for your relationship with God is to spend time in His word. Don’t just be satisfied with these snippets. Open up your Bible (or the Bible app) and read the full chapter for more context and clarity. That’s how we get to know God better!

I pray these verses encourage and strengthen you as you take on this new week. Praying for you and cheering you on, friend ♥️

My number one laundry must-have is this baby laund My number one laundry must-have is this baby laundry stain remover spray. Listen, @dreft did their thing when they made this. It has been holding me down since Toni Noelle was a newborn.

I use this spray on literally EVERYTHING. It’s gotten spaghetti sauce stains out of my rugs. Coffee stains out of my white settee and so much more.

I also really like that it’s safe to use around the kids. It’s made of plant-based ingredients and doesn’t contain any dyes so I don’t have to worry about it harming them.

Do yourself a favor and grab a bottle (or 2). I included a link to it in my bio ♥️

Also, this is not sponsored. I wasn’t paid for this or sent any products for free. I been spending my own money on this for years and think you’ll love it like I do!
I shared this message in a caption of a reel last I shared this message in a caption of a reel last year and after adding baby number 2 to the tribe a few months ago, I’m standing ten toes down on it.

As seasons change splitting the work looks different than before, but it still needs to happen. I couldn’t imagine working all day and my partner not help me maintain the place we both call home or take care of the kids he helped me make.

Single ladies, have this conversation as early in the relationship as you can so you both have the right expectations going into marriage. Also take stock of his cleaning habits beforehand so you won’t be caught off guard later I’m fortunate because I didn’t marry a lazy man. He was on top of keeping his bachelor pad in order way before I came into the picture 🙌🏾

Now if you’re already in a relationship and struggling in this area, now would be a great time to lovingly but firmly set some boundaries, ask for some help, then get to delegating. God tells you to be your home’s manager, not a workhorse ♥️

P.S.
Now is a great time to remind you to grab the free prayer guide: “14 Days of Declaring Scriptures Over Your Husband”. It’s linked in my bio under “Free Guides”
